I'm 18 and I've had it all my life. Once you hit puberty it will get worse or better mine got worse. I have used home remedies from steroid cream(witch by the way is harmful to your skin it makes it thin and takes pigmentation away for about 10 years trust me I know.). If you take apple cider vinger baths abut 2 cups a tub, will calm inflation or dryness. Asking for an ointment from a Dermatologist helps a lot. I just recently discovered that spray tans rehydrate the skin for days and so I don't have to put cream on my skin for at least 2 days verse every hour of the day. ( it looks splotchy but feels great, its worth it to me) now if your skin is inflamed do not go tan it wont do anything so use your steroid cream once a day usually at night before bed. go to my profile if you have any questions I have tons more to help you. :]Answer #5:
For quick short term results, use a cortisone cream, which is available in drugstores. Or, if you prefer a natural remedy, rub coconut oil on the affected areas. For the long term, I suggest changing to natural products and even changing to an organic diet, which has worked for me.Answer #6:
Hello Caitlen,Please do not use a steroid cream because it is only a bandage, about every 6 months you will have to get your liver checked because after awhile the script will start to damage your liver. Also Eucerin is the #1 cream on the market but its only a bandage as well, in order to totally get rid of anything, you got to get to the root of the problem, if not then you are not killing the host. A steroid cream has some advantages over any other forms of anabolic steroids; however, it has also its share of disadvantages. Sustained application of steroid cream may result to tolerance leading to reduced effects; thus, it is advised that sites of applications must be rotated when you’re using a steroid cream, that's why a doctor don't recommend you to continue the use of steroid creams for a long period of time. The best way to clear up your problem is first get all of those cheap and harmful products out of your home, along with a lot of other items to name a few; bleach, oust, tilex, the list goes on and on, the reason that you have a flair up is because something you are using has trigger your respiratory system. But if you are seriously wanting to get rid of the redness and never be bothered with this type of skin disease you need to email me.
