Question #2:

What vitamin is it that makes your skin healthy?

Is it fish oil? Vitamin E? I can't remember. But I wanted to start taking it to see if there is any change in my acne. I have mild acne and was hoping that just a little more vitamins for healthy skin would kinda change that. Along with washing my face still, of course. None of the acne systems do anything.

Question #3:

Why is my tank cloudy?

i have a 5 gallon fish tank with 5 gold fish and my tank is cloudy. Also how long should i keep the light on?? and what else should i add to the tank??

Question #4:

Should I wait for her or move on?

[This is very long, if you don't like to read, go to other questions]

A good friend of mine and I like each other, but we decided to take things slow, develop more feelings before we decide to commit. It sounded all good, since we had no reason to rush.

The problem happened when I found out how passive she was. I very well knew that she's a bit shy and introverted, but it wasn't too bad and I was certain she'd open her minds up soon enough. But no, she turned out to be the most passive person I've ever met.

When we talk on AIM, she's never online. She always hides offline when she's actually online, and tells me I should try to talk to her because she may answer. I asked her why she has to hide offline, and she said she doesn't like to be bothered by some people when she doesn't wanna talk. My attempt to talk isn't always successful, of course. I try a couple times a day, and I'm lucky if we talk everyday.
She isn't the most responsive person. Many times, she's talking to others, watching videos on YouTube, or other not usually very important things.
Sometimes, a couple times a week, I send her messages, either via phone text or Facebook, kind of like my diary just for her. How my day was, how I was thinking of her, asking how her day was, etc., especially when we didn't get to talk lately. With no exaggerations, she responds about one per 10 messages.
Lately, her attitude has been "meh" and when I ask her if everything is okay, she just says it's because of the work.
I realized that I never hear from her unless I talk to her first. So I decided not to initiate the conversation for two weeks, while keeping myself regularly available to talk. Guess what, she didn't talk to me at all, for two full weeks.

It gets me frustrated. I don't mind leading the girl, but I still want the girl to put in efforts, and the way things look to me at the moment, she's not even putting in half the effort I put in. I talked to her about this a couple times. She said she still likes me very much and that she's sorry for frustrating me.
I told her, "there is a fine line between apathy and blunt passiveness, and I'm quite sure you've crossed the line long time ago."
She reminded me that we were suppose to take it slow. It's been over two months since we agreed that we'll "take it slow", and she's gotten much more introverted since then.

This is a sad thing, because everything else about her, she's absolutely fantastic. Classic girl next door, great smile, sweetest heart, and even a bit of nerdy side. Everything I could ask for in a girl, she has it, except for her aloof attitude, which I really can't deal with.
I thought it's not a big deal, and I really tried to be patient and work it out for past two months, but when I'm starting to feel like I've been wasting my time, I know it's time to reconsider my feelings for her.

Should I wait for her or move on?
FYI - I'm 21 and she's 18.

1) Wait. Don't be a jerk now. She may be testing you. If only one aspect of her is bothering you, then you need to keep try. Be impatient, and you may regret later.
2) Move on. She's not worth the headache. If she's naturally passive like that, chances are, she'll always be like that. And if it troubles you this much, just stay friends with this girl, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

Question #6:

Why is my dog drinking so much water?

I have a labrador retriever and she is 7 years old. She is a female, and weighs about 85 pounds. (big girl, i know!) We used to take her hiking and she used to be all muscle. Now she has been putting more weight on. She is allergic to wheat and almost everything. We have her on a diet that contains of only fish and sweet potato. She has been on this diet for most of her life. Lately I have noticed her drinking more water than she usually drinks. - Meaning she drinks almost two full bowls of water a day, rather than 1/2-1 whole bowl a day. Is it possible she can be diabetic? What can I do? Also, she has accidents during the night. She used to pee at night before she went to bed, then again in the morning. Now she pees every night on the floor and it is a constant thing now. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Question #10:

On Harvest Moon Island of Happiness how do you get Wada to be your friend?

I'm on year four and have finally gotten Vaughn to 10 hearts and a red heart. However now I realize that in order to marry someone you need to have all areas unlocked, and I don't have the tower unlocked. Question #11:

My mom tells me I mumble in my sleep although I very rarely remember my dreams when I wake up?

My mom tells me I mumble in my sleep although I very rarely remember my dreams when I wake up, and when I do dream(like once or twice a every few months) they are very profound and have an air of mystery about them, but they are never nightmares.
I don''t drink coffee, soda or eat junk food. I eat farm fresh fruits and veggies. Also wild caught fish and grass fed beef. So is my diet actually contributing to this? Also I have the same sleep patterns daily getting about 8 hours of sleep a night. So I don't think that this is contributing to this.
Why do I mumble in my sleep, but still not remember my dreams? Why do I mumble? Am I trying to say something? My mom says it is so quiet she can't understand what I am saying, just hearing mumbles. and why do I rarely remember my dreams when I awaken? Does this have to do with something mentally, physically, or spiritually?

Question #12:

Best aquarium filter for sand substrate?

Okay, first off, I have already looked into this and have gotten a few answers. Including answers from another yahoo answer. Firstly, yes I am using sand in a freshwater aquarium and I hate sand. however I am housing african cichlids and I know they seem to really enjoy "redecorating" and their redecorating really doesnt agree with my fish tank filter. I have murdered one impeller and spent 12 dollars on a new impeller that is already on its last leg (only been a week....jees) anyway, the yahoo answer that i looked at suggested an under-gravel filter system with foam on top to keep the sand from falling through, sounds like an okay idea, problems are that the tank is already put together and going and i dont want to tear it appart to put the filter in. secondly the person i got the tank from already had an under-gravel filter and it gets really nasty underneith those and I dont think I want that in my fish tank...(I will if that turns out to be the only or best solution) but also someone mentioned a canister filter...for some reason...I dunno, as far as money goes, I would be willing to pay a little extra for a good filter that this wont affect...anyone know any type of filter that works or any kind of other solutions? I am just looking for other options....

Question #13:

Switching to Sharks in my Aquarium?

Hey Y.A.:

I've got a 70+ bow front freshwater aquarium I've been running for about 5 or so months now, and I recently bought an awesome 7 inch vampire pleco. Buying this made me realize that it's time for me to upgrade my fish from the black mollies, sunburst platys, and tetras I have to something better

At the moment, the only fish I want to keep for the transition are my to syno catfish (2.5in and 3in.), my rubberlip (2in) and vampire pleco (7in), and my 3 rainbow sharks (1 black red tail, and 2 albino). I'd like to upgrade into a more shark-based tank, like Bala sharks and such...the only problem is that I don't know what combinations work well in a tank.

I'm trying to go with nice looking, impressive fish which is why I've chosen to want to try a shark-based line, but I don't know how we'll they'll interact with each other in the tank (or even if the setup I want in my head is even POSSIBLE)

Anyone have any advice?

Question #14:

Is it wrong to put tropical/marine fish in a tank at home just for pleasure?

I watched the poor little things today in a pet shop.

Question #15:

I'm new to being gluten free and have a question..?

Ok, I've been anemic for a long time now and my doctor did a stool test on me and found some damage to my bowel that he thinks is from gluten intolerance or celiac disease, so now I'm getting a gene test to confirm it but I haven't gotten it yet..but he still wants me to go ahead and start a gluten free diet so I have, but with all the research I've done, people are saying its sooo hard to eat out and I've already eaten out twice since I started this diet 4 days ago and of course I didnt get exactly what I would have wanted on the menu but it wasnt that difficult. I just got some grilled fish that hadn't been marinaded (i checked with the waitress) and steamed veggies w/o sauce on one occasion and a salad with red cabbage, rice and beans and salsa and sour cream with corn chips on the other occasion and I'm thinking I must be doing something wrong because its not that hard to find something gluten free (several things actually) at practically any restaurant. It just seems too easy. I feel like maybe there's hidden gluten everywhere and that's what it seems like some people are saying, they freak out about cross contamination, but is it THAT serious if you get a trace from cross contamination? Ive heard some say they feel like rusty razor blades are shredding their insides from eating a trace of gluten, but that never happened to me even when i was eating gluten all the time. I don't think i have the usual symptoms of it.. mine are nausea, unexplained anemia, poor nutrient absorption (results from the stool test), weakness, getting tired and worn out easily, insomnia, etc. Could it be that I'm just not as sensitive to gluten as some others? Does anyone else with a gluten allergy stay on a gluten free diet, yet not completely obsess about cross contamination?

Question #16:

I just want to be beautiful...?

Hi. I really need somebody to help me. I am... extremely unattractive. I will not post a picture, as I do not want to be deemed as one of those that posts questions saying "I'm SOOOOO ugly" but really are just fishing for compliments.

I have messy, almost untameable chocolate brown hair, almond shaped sea-green eyes that are a little too close together, a small, pointed, slightly upturned nose, and a small mouth, although I must admit my lips are a lovely colour. I have quite a square face shape with very high cheek bones. I have very pale skin, like porcelain. Could you tell me how I could turn these unattractive features into something beautiful? I need any help I can get. Thank you. x
My hair is about 2 and a half inches past my shoulder. Its wavy, and I have a side sweeping fringe.
Laura B, I'm very sorry you see it that way, but Chocolate and Sea-Green are just colours. I used the word porcelain, because my skin is very pale and clear because I try to take care of it to kind of improve my appearance, and I do think the colour of my lips is lovely, i'ts about the only part of my face I like. I apologize if I seem like a jerk to you.

Question #20:

Help! I'm no good at fishing!?

I haven't been able to catch a single fish yet! I bought myself a basic little rod and reel, and I go to the lake near my house, It's a fairly big lake I mostly fish off of rocky cliffs and into rocky coves, I haven't gotten any fish at all after about a week, I usually fish late in the day or the evening, and I use dead shad and live worms as well as some fake rubber shad lures, I can only cast about 30-40 feet out, ANY help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated

-Kyle
