I pass out when ever i got blood drawn or i get a shot?

When ever i get a shot or blood drawn i pass out, i don't get nervous and i'm not scared of blood. it just started happening the past year. I'm getting a blood test Monday and my doctor is giving me anti anxiety pills and a numbing patch for it. Anyway i was wondering does anyone else have this problem and what do you do to prevent it.

Mountain Cur dog has sores on stomach & eats plants he's allergic to - please help!?

We adopted a Mountain Cur last year from the humane society. He had every issue from hip dysplacia to, nightmares where he'd do a soft attack if you startled him, not potty trained at all, missing patches of hair on feet, 20 lbs underweight but, he is super affectionate and loves dogs. It's been a year and all issues are gone but new ones have appeared. Before I go on with the issue - I must state - he is NOT the brightest dog in the world. In fact, he's really sweet and mild tempered but takes months to learn a trick & gets overwhelmed when you use too many words. You can't say, "come on buddy..get on the couch" or he'll just stare at you, can only say... "UP". Anyway....

The past few months he developed blisters or scabbed sores on his belly, armpits &, groin. I took him to the vet and they gave him some steroids & benedryl - said it was probably allergies or that he got into something he was allergic to. After medicine & bathing they all started to go away.

Then, 3-4 weeks ago my husband and I took the dogs for a walk around the block and watched a movie. Near the end of the movie I noticed Jax was pacing (VERY abnormal) when we turned on the lights his face was blown up like he stuck his head into a bee hive. Ears were so swollen they looked like two pierogies stuck to his head and his eyes were almost sealed shut.

Took him to a 24 hr ER expecting immediate service but during the 45 minute wait his swelling went down & he seemed normal again so we left - The vet STILL didn't speak or note we were there.

After a few days of his swelling, 2 trips to the vet for epi shots, and $800 we noticed he was eating the leaves off my Black Eyed Susan flowers in the yard - getting an allergic reaction & puking - then going back out to eat the leaves... WTH?? lol

All plants were removed from the garden and all of his hives/swelling have gone down but he still is getting blisters EVERYWHERE. If I move my hands down his back I can feel scabs every few inches. Looks kinda of like chicken pox on a dog but some blisters are about the size of a pea. He also has large crusty spots under his arms.

We have: changed the bedding, dusted the house, removed plants, stopped giving treats, no more hiking in the woods, and DO NOT use any fertilizer or poisons in the yard what so ever.
My other dog is not showing any signs and both of them are on BLUE dog food for sensitive stomachs.

Ever heard of this?? What could it be? I heard about dogs getting allergy tests but it just sounds expensive.

Positive ANA test, type 1 diabetic - help?

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help shed some light on a problem my best friend is having.

He is a type 1 diabetic (pump dependent) and is having a horrible time at the moment with itching. His skin, especially on his genitals, itches uncontrollably at all times of the day (but especially at night) it seems to be red and bumpy in patches and is quite bad on his stomach and arms. It also appears that he has a Mylar rash on his cheeks.

He recently had an ANA test come back positive. Of course that opens up the possibility to several things. He is 20 years old, active, seemingly health (besides the diabetes) young man. I hate that this is driving him absolutely crazy and we're waiting for him to get in to see a rheumatoligist.

If anyone has some advice, ideas, ways to help alleviate the itching until the doctor seems him please let me know. He has taken prednizone already and has been applying sarna lotion for a couple of weeks now.

Could my BF get HIV from this?

My boyfriend was helping a friend that had cut herself in a attempt to kill herself. She was bleeding pretty bad and he helped he stop the bleeding and patch her up. Now I'm worried he might've caught something. He assures me she's been tested and is clean due to a drug history and has regular tests done, and he had no cuts on his hands. I checked his hands to make sure, not even a lil paper cut or anything. I'm just worried he might have caught something. I'm glad he helped her coz she probably would have died otherwise but, at the same time, now I'm worried about his and mine health.

Is this lyme disease?

I don't know much about lyme disease but I heard about it recently and I think I may have it I'm not a hypochondriac by any means.

I have this weird rash on my body that consists of tiny circles that look like the skin is rubbed off. I've been getting bad migraines. I wake up sweating sometimes too.

I showed the rash to several people and they say it looks like little patches of excema but I've never seen excema that shows up as little circles.

I'm terrified. And I want to tell my parents but I'm afraid of getting a blood test and them finding out I smoked pot once a couple weeks ago (it was my first time)

So I want to know before I take action if that sounds like lyme diseaase?

How Do I Tell My Mom I Need An UTI Test?

I'm thirteen and live in a pretty big family. It's been hurting for a while when I use the restroom, a stinging, burning kind of sensation, but I've just ignored it or been too scared to look up why. I googled it not long ago and it sounds like I might have UTI (urinary tract infection) but I have no idea how to bring it up with my mom. =_= Yes, that's likely to be a cheery conversation, huh? At first I thought it to have something to do with penworms, but I've been treated many times for them, including today, but the symptoms keep coming back. Itchy between-the-legs, stinging when I use the restroom, and dark patches between-the-legs. I also noticed that my between-the-legs XD I'm not saying it) is really swollen or rotten-looking.

My daughter was born on August 4th and my husband and I had protected sex with a condom after two weeks. I went in for my check up and my dr gave me to go ahead since I had a C-section he said there was no need to wait until 6 weeks. I went into the ER for abdominal pain which was caused from constipation 4 days later and tested positive in my urine test. I went to my dr today to check on the X-rays they had taken for my adbominal pain and it was becasue of constipation but since the test was positive for pregnancy he sent me to get a blood test and I will get the results tomorow when I call in, but I came home and took a urine test that I had left over from when my husband and I were trying to get pregnant since I had bought just about a million boxes lol and it came back positive. It's been 4 weeks since I gave birth, It wasn't like bright positive but there was a line there. Is there any chance that it could just be HCG left in my system? We've had sex once again since then and I started the patch before hand
The test that was done in the ER was a urine test not a blood test and I have a 3 1/2 year old son and wern't looking to have anymore children for at least 8 years lol. I read in many articles that the hormone can still be in your body causing a positive test for 4-6 weeks after giving birth. And my doctor also said there is a possibility that the hormone is just left over from my daughter and thats why he ordered a blood test, that way hecan see the level of hormone left and tell me if the hormone is from a new pregnancy or my daughter.

My clownfish are sick or something, help!?

I have a 29gal saltwater aquarium, unfortunately no test kit right now. I have a true percula clownfish and a clarkii, and both of them are acting weird. The clarkii is just lying around breathing fast, occasionally moving around spastically but then lying down again. The percula is just hovering in one corner not doing much of anything, and he has pale patches all over his body, areas where the orange is less intense. He didn't look like that when I bought him three days ago. The tankmates are all healthy, and are as follows: niger triggerfish, spotted puffer, and a blue velvet damsel. I had a flame angel as well, but it died this morning, seemingly without reason. help?!

My dad keeps getting sued by black people, what can he do?

My dad is general manager of a car dealership in Philadelphia. Hes one of the hardest working people I know, and runs an honest, very professional business. However, since there are a lot of black people in Philly, he keeps getting frivolous lawsuits against him...mainly by black people...and he always loses.

These suits are usually so ridiculous that any educated person would rule in favor of my dad's company, or throw the cases out of course. But, since there are so many black people in Philadelphia, the judges and jury are usually also black when he goes to court. Even though these suits are completely bogus, my still ends up losing ...this is because most black people are usually very quick to jump on any opportunity they can to take money from an honest white man and give it to a black person...possibly they see it as their form of "reparations" or something. Its especially bad since hes in the car business and they all think of the slimy used car salesman stereotype. In reality, its a dealership for major corporate car company(I won't name which one), he cares a lot about his customers, and he hires very highly trained technicians. My dads not racist, and treats all of his customers with equal respect.

For some examples... not too long ago he got sued by a black guy who said he tripped in a pothole in the parking lot and sprained his ankle. They got it on security camera, and the footage clearly showed the man walking up to a crack in the pavement, stopping, sitting down, standing back up, and walking away. The guy clearly planned this act...my dad still lost the case.

Another black woman just sued him for $100,000 claiming somehow she was "no longer able to have sex" because her axle broke and she got in a fender bender, resulting in no injury ... this is after she refused to get a new one when advised that hers needed replacement (it was an old shit box) by one of my dad's technicians when she took it in for repairs. Of course..black jury...she won.

He also got sued for nearly a quarter million by a lady who had a small (think dime sized) leak in her trunk, and claimed that somehow it lead to her divorce. The car wasn't sold by my dad's dealership, and a patch on the leak was attempted by another dealership when she first found it like 10 years ago. She only recently brought it into my dad's shop...they re-patched the hole, tested it, and found the problem was fixed. However, she claimed that there was still a tiny leak...and my dad owed her $250,000 for her divorce. She also won.

And no...I'm not exaggerating the facts in my dad's favor. They are legitimately that absurd. He runs a legitimate business, and these were real cases. That was just a few of them, he usually gets a couple of these lawsuits every year.

Generally, he just settles for money since it costs so much to fight these. It seems that whenever he does fight them, he still loses no matter what if its a black person suing. I feel really bad since my dad works so hard and I can see all of these cases really stress him out. Is there anything that can be done to request a white judge or a jury with more white people on it so he gets a fair trial? Or any way he can stop having to pay people for these frivolous lawsuits?

I know he can appeal or whatever...but that ends up sucking up as much in legal fees as hes being sued for.

How long after taking off the Ortho Evra Patch should I start my next period?

I removed my patch on 7/30 to start my patch free week. I started my period on 8/2 like I should and I was suppose to put the patch back on on 8/6 but because of the side effects I decided to stop using it. So since 7/30 I've been off the patch. I usually get my period every 28 days (before I started the patch) but I haven't gotten it yet.

I had unprotected sex on 7/28, 8/20, and 8/29.

Is it normal for my not to have a period yet or should I take a pregnancy test?

cat first ever checkup - scared !!!?

my almost 3 year old kitty (was stray)
is getting her first ever checkup and vaccines tomorrow
when i adopted her she was so quiet and thin,i took her to the vet she had a bad case of womb infection and she had to get spayed,she got spayed and has been acting great since then
she gained weight,sooo playful and purrs to me all the time

but i keep googling cat diseases and keep worrying that the vet will discover something serious in her
for example when i play with my kitty and she is running like crazy she will sit and make a big sign9sound of air coming out of her nose/mouth ?) does that mean she have a lung problem ?? heart failure !!!

maybe the vet will run test and dicover she have feline lukemia in a late stage !!!!!

does this sound like MS?

I need some help, I feel so unwell and its taking over my life. I am always feeling like I'm coming down with something and have had a burning headache for a few months. I was diagnosed with CFS about 6 years ago. But after a while I felt a lot better and went 4 years feeling fine apart from the fact that I am always stiff. Along with the uncontrollable drowsiness when the CFS is playing up I get sleep paralysys, dizzyness, headaches, I cant speak properly, I get forgetfull and my hands shake. I'm so clumsy, things just fall through my fingers. I drop everything on the floor. My whole body aches and I am so stiff. I feel sick in the mornings and it takes me hours to wake up. My mind is foggy and I get so forgetfull.

But lately I have been going through a particually bad patch. I have had a burning headache for almost 3 months, I feel dizzy a lot and sick and my head feels like its burning. The clumsyness is back and I feel like an old lady because I am so stiff, achey and uncomfortable. I have never been so forgetfull and I feel like I am living in a bubble. Like I am still sleeping even when I'm awake. I have had sleep tests in the past and even an MRI. I never thougt about MS before until I looked on a website because of a friend having a problem with her eye and it popped up on google so I had a read. Instead of finding an answer for her questions I found answers for mine. It seems to make so much sense.

Here is a list of things I experience or have experienced in past episodes of feeling this way. It comes and goes. I went 4 years feeling fine and now its back.

Extreme fatigue
severe burning headaches or migraines
dizziness
nausea
problems with spacial awareness
joint pain and stiffness
pins and needles in arms and legs.
my hands sometimes feel funny, sometimes numb
palpitations
cramps in my legs and ankles (but only when I'm cold)
tight chest (only when I'm cold)
clumsiness, things just fall through my hands and I trip over myself alot
forgetfull
memory loss
have trouble forming sentences and finding words
tinitus, worse than usual (not sure if its a symptom of ms?)
altered sense of smell, although taste is normal
restless leg syndrome, which annoys hubby but doesnt bother me
mood swings (probably because of my 3 month headache)
I have perfect vision because of laser eye treatment so no visual symptoms except i see a little black dot in my vision which they said was a floater.

I feel so fed up of feeling this way. I'm sure the doctor thinks I'm a hypechondriac or something. Is this all just CFS or could it be MS? The reason that I have started thinking it could be this is because I read about it causing lesions on the brain. I had an MRI when they diagnosed CFS and there was 1 lesion there but according to what I've read they would need to see 2 or more for a diagnosis. They didnt seem concerned by the lesion at the time.

Please give me your opinions. should I go to the doctor and demand some tests? Oh and the scariest thing I have had since I started feeling ill again is that a few weeks ago I went to change gear and my arm didnt move. That usualy only happens if the 1st few seconds after I wake. When it did move it was so heavy.
forgot to add, had blood tests for diabetes, heliobactor pylori (because of the nausea) and usualy FBCs and stuff. All normal. Would this mean I can forget about the MS and stop being silly?
sorry, also should have said have already gone down the vitamine b route, no problems there but I took suplements anyway and my pee turned bright yellow. the packaging said thats a sign of having too much so i stopped taking them

How long should a laser hair removal treatment session on the neck last for (actual use of the laser)?

Got a 30 second (literally) patch test yesterday and that was fine, and had the first of six sessions today but it was only about 5 minutes - is that normal? Six 5 minute sessions, seems very short to me (not that I'm an expert!) It's just to tidy up the neck area. They use a machine called the Soprano XL. Thanks.
Yeah, in and out.....lol Well, I walked in the door at 5pm and was walking out at 5.15pm, the actual laser part only took 5 minutes. Hmmmm, seems too short.

The money part isn't the problem, the problem is making sure you're getting what you pay for.

I'm on the patch, and was on it when I had sex. My period came as planned, and I even took a pregnancy test and it said it was negative. I still feel weird. I've had a LOT of weight gain in the past few days. I feel bloated and my breasts are a little sore. HELP?

All aftershave is primarily alcohol based as far as I know, with fragrance etc - think of weak perfume or eau de toilette. Was told to shave the night before which I've done but I usually splash some aftershave on my face every day whether I've shaved or not.

I rescued a kitten, need advice about blood in the stool and patch of fur gone?

I unfortunetly have a weakness for animals. I was leaving work last night and I heard a small meowing coming from the bushes, so i went over to investigate. Low and Behold is this little kitten, possibly 4 or 5 weeks old? No more than 6 or 7. So, although I already have a full grown beagle mix and 2 new puppies i recently rescued...I took the kitten home with me. I intend on finding a rescue or person to take her, but no rescues have openings and our local shelter euthanizes. I didnt have any cat food, so I gave her some turkey flavored ceasar puppy food which she ate. She didnt drink any water I gave her. I didnt have a litter box. (Mind you this was almost midnight.) so I put her in the bathroom. She had a bowel movement and when I went to wipe it up, i notice bright red blood in the tissue. It was a normal stool, not too hard and not diarhea. This concerns me. In addition, she has a VERY TINY patch of fur missing right above her eye...could that be from a fight? Or something more serious like mange? I just paid over $250 the other day to get my puppies their boosters, heart worm tests, deworming, etc. I am tapped out for vet bills. So what should i do? I couldnt just leave her there but I feel like I cant afford to take her to the vet. Our shelter is pretty awful so I'm at a loss. ANY ADVICE WILL HELP!!!

Also, please dont answer that I shouldnt have picked her up, cant take care of her and blah blah blah. The kitten was homeless and at least I'm trying to help. I'm not trying to keep her long term so please dont preach at me for trying to do the right thing!

Project ( Microstrip Antenna design)

The aim of this project is to design of an efficient wideband small size antenna for wireless application.
F shape patch antenna was design to meet C-band (3.4-4.2 GHz) criteria fo wireless application.
The design simulation used is CST MICROWAVE STUDIO to analyze and to get the better dimension of the patch antenna.
After the design completed and implementation on PCB, the antenna were test with the Spectrum analyzer to get the the final result.
